Now I Iove over -the -top Halloween décor as much as the next gal! … and trust me you will see plenty of it this month! But in some places, less really is more. Simple, fun holiday décor in unexpected places can make a big impact. Don’t overwhelm yourself with BIG plans. Start small. One bag of bats with bendable bat wings placed on a living room wall? Well, I think it’s bat-tastic!
Get the kids involved and make your own cut out rats, spiders and webs, bats and pumpkins and choose a couple of fun, strategic places to make a decorative statement!
Poseable skeletons are a GREAT buy for any Halloween decor. They can be placed in positions crawling up/down/along the inside or outside of your house. They can sit in chairs, on benches or wherever you feel you need a little something. The options are endless and you and your family are sure to have tons of laughs coming up with ideas for your new bony friends.

Head down to your dollar store and pick up some plastic body parts and bugs and let the kids have a blast placing them around the yard or porch. I usually dump a few dollar store bags all over the porch and it is my nephew’s favorite part of our decorations! Some of our Trick or Treaters even get an extra kick out of finding treats strewn about on the porch.
