Chocolate Mousse Ice Cream Pie
This Chocolate Mousse Ice Cream Pie is super quick and easy to make and it is sure to please just about anyone’s sweet tooth! Easy enough to whip up for a last minute, weeknight get-together and delicious enough for any special occasion!
Here’s What You Need:
24 Oreo cookies, crushed
6 tablespoons of melted butter
1 box of instant chocolate pudding OR Wildtree Chocolate Mousse Mix
2 cups of heavy cream
4 scoops of chocolate, vanilla, chocolate swirl or any variation ice cream
4 tablespoons of chocolate syrup OR 1/4 cup of melted chocolate
Garnish: grated chocolate or chocolate syrup and whipped cream
Here’s What You Do:
Melt the butter in the microwave.
Crush the cookies in a food processor or put them in a heavy freezer bag and mash them with a meat tenderizer or other heavy object (be sure not to create a whole in the bag or you will really have a mess on your hands!)
Combine the cookie crumbs and butter until well blended.
Press evenly into an 8 inch round cake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Let cool before adding the filling. You can cool it faster in the fridge or freezer.
Use and electric mixer to blend the pudding or mousse mix with the heavy cream and syrup or melted chocolate. blend until creamy then add the ice cream and blend again.
Pour the mixture over the cooled crust and cover. Freeze for at least 2 hours before serving. Garnish with shaved chocolate, whipped cream or chocolate syrup and enjoy!
